1.

"The Biography of Van Gogh" is an old movie, and its content is roughly the same as the book "Longing for Life. Biography of Van Gogh".

Under the interpretation of Kirk Douglas, the enthusiasm for life that bloomed in Van Gogh's heart is very infectious.

Sunshine, wheat fields, and bright yellow all represent his incomparable love for life.

In the days of living with Gauguin, he repeatedly told his inner feelings about life, rambled, without the point.

He thought that Gauguin understood him, understood his loneliness and enthusiasm. So, after learning that Gauguin was going to move in, he painted a group of sunflowers just to decorate Gauguin's room.

As for Gauguin, he has always been a person who hides his emotional life, so he couldn't stand Van Gogh's ramble, especially his delicate emotions, which made him extremely irritable.

Quarrel, leave. Van Gogh picked up the knife and chased out in the chaos, but turned back and went home the moment he saw Gauguin. Cut ears.

An art history interpretation said that the yellow paint used by Van Gogh at that time contained toxic substances, and most people used it after toning, so it had little effect.

But the biggest feature of Van Gogh's paintings is the use of primary colors. He also likes wheat fields and sunflowers in the sun, so the reason for his insanity is the yellow he loves.

He committed suicide in the wheat field, but he did not die immediately, but was rescued.

He refused treatment and eventually died of bleeding. In the last moments of his life, he looked at his brother Theo, who had been supporting him, with guilt in his heart. At the very least, he says, you should be able to recoup the cost of paint and canvas.

During his lifetime, he only sold one painting. But his enthusiasm and desire for life are covered in every painting.

2.

Before Van Gogh decided to paint, he planned to succeed his father and become a priest. But the sermons he wrote were so obscure that his teachers did not approve of him staying in the parish.

In order to be able to do something for others, he went to a coal mining area that no one else wanted to go to.

It seems that no matter what era, the coal mining area is a gathering place for the poor. Such places seem to need faith, because in the eyes of evangelists, the reason why they live so miserably is precisely because they have no faith.

But in fact, such places need the least faith. So pastor after pastor went, and finally came back frustrated.

In the process of preaching, Van Gogh gradually realized that what they needed was to live. As long as they have food, shelter, and treatment when they are sick, they can smile.

Van Gogh took off his priest's robe and gave his house to those who were sick. He went to the mines to experience the toil of their work and picked up cinders with the women on a mountain of rubbish.

Death is a very near thing. The person who was chatting and laughing with you yesterday may be buried in the mine today and never come out again. But it is precisely because it is very difficult to live, so from the eyes of these people at the bottom, Van Gogh saw their desire for life.

3.

Those painters of the same period, in addition to painting celebrities, are mythological figures. In their eyes, poor working people are not worth painting.

Even Gauguin told Van Gogh that the reason why he painted scenes of people working was because he was supported by his younger brother, and he never worked, so he didn't know how hard it was. Days without food are so miserable and there is no beauty at all.

Gauguin was right, there is no beauty in the work in the fields, but the purpose of Van Gogh's paintings is not to beautify the pain, but from the pain and struggle, he saw the instinctive desire and hope of human nature.

Longing for life is the greatest beauty. For Van Gogh, there is nothing more laudable than living hard.

He did not try to cover up, nor did he deliberately show his understanding of the people at the bottom. What he is obsessed with is reverence for life.

With the purest and most zealous heart, he left everything he saw and felt on the canvas. Like a lamp in the dark, although the light flickered, he lit everything with all his might, until all his strength was exhausted and he could no longer create a work.

At the end of the story, I couldn't help crying when I saw him telling Theo to go home. But what followed was a sunny wheat field under the dense black.

When the caregiver of the mental hospital saw a painting by Van Gogh, he said: "It doesn't seem like a sad death."

Van Gogh said happily: You are right, just in broad daylight, the sun shrouded everything on the earth in pure gold-like brilliance... The

sun is still warm, and under such a golden color, being able to live hard is the greatest Be happy!
