I watched Quartet today, and I really liked the witty, wise and talented old people in it, especially Grandma Maggie, who has always hated her. Whether it is Downton Abbey or Harry Potter, she has always been humorous, witty and strong. A group of musicians who are dying, even though there will be the loneliness and sadness of the elderly, the helplessness and sadness of the passage of time, but these are just the clouds and rains in their lives, and the years have left them more optimistic and calm. The life that is as dry and yellow as the desert is planted by them with the heart as the dot to grow an oasis full of business. On the long road, music is undoubtedly the source of their life. From a certain point of view, they are happy, because people always have some pursuit. This pursuit, selfishly speaking, is independent and about oneself. . People always have to live for themselves first before they can live better for others. There are many concerns in a person's life. Often children and elders are more resolute and let go. The former is because of too little experience, while the latter is because of the vicissitudes of life. It is precisely because of the thickness of the years that I have that peace of mind, and it is precisely because of my insight into the world that I can better understand what I want. Old age is not for sissies, the roses are long gone, but the chrysanthemums are magnificent. I hope this open-mindedness and bravery can be obtained sooner.
