(No. 79) Dayin Niche Film Group Watching Party
- Almodovar, "Bind Me, Tie Me"
As a small fan of Almodovar, I was a little disappointed after watching this film. The story is weak, the plot can't stand scrutiny, and the characters are quite distinct, but the process from psychological changes to relationship changes is not well expressed, which seems sloppy
Compared with the later "Tell Her", "All About My Mother" and "Bad Education", there is still a big gap. However, on second thought, this film also allowed me to see the growth of the director. This work with morbid elements in a normal heterosexual relationship is an exercise for a later film that explores sexual minorities and attitudes towards sex
Some directors become famous by a film, which is short-lived, and some directors can continue to explore in a type of film, forming a unique style of their own. I think Almodovar is the latter
Director, I still like you, hahahaha
