The biggest shortcoming of the film is that the plot is not enough

The filming, editing and soundtrack are good. The biggest shortcoming of the film is that the plot is not enough, especially the first part of the film: the line of Adam's struggle with drug addiction is not explained by the storyline, but is simply narrated in the way of voice-over at the beginning, and no explanation is given. Why did he dig up a million oysters, why did he get three Michelin stars, why didn't he accept Tony's help but let his ex-girlfriend help pay off the debt? The lack of answers to these key questions softens the conflict throughout the film. This is also the reason why the whole film can't get high marks.

I want to use the paranoid characters of "Boom Drummer" to bring new elements to the food movie, but it is self-defeating. The protagonist is unconvincing. There is nothing else to do except get angry and annoying, and the story level is extremely mediocre. Lifeless, nothing ignited, not even appetite.

The plot is boring and cliché, the dialogue of this script is so unnutritious, and this kind of movie also pulls in a bunch of famous actors, it's just spending money and ruining art.
