I originally watched this film to find excitement, but I was successfully frightened. It is estimated that I have not dared to watch movies of the same type for a long time, scaring the shadows.
Let me start with a few impressive points:
The two sisters were in a cage, and the iron rope hanging on the cage was broken, so the sisters and the cage fell into the seabed at a depth of 47 meters.
The hostess went out from the cage to find the light of the flashlight. The flashlight was opposite a cliff. Below the cliff was a bottomless ocean. The hostess swam to the middle, picked up something, and found that she could not find her way back, because the surrounding area was completely It was pitch black and I couldn't find my way.
There are also more than one great white sharks that are 20 inches long at every turn.
Can you imagine how scary it is?
The second most impressive is:
A reversal of the plot.
Kate was killed by a shark when she went out of the cage to find the oxygen cylinder. Lisa, who was in the cage, had hallucinations while waiting for rescue:
Lisa heard Kate's cry for help in the distance. When Lisa found Kate, Kate was bleeding heavily and was about to hang up. Lisa made a decisive decision and rushed to Shanghai without waiting for help.
So here comes the terrifying point. Lisa, with her bloody kate, has to swim from the bottom of the sea to the surface, 47 meters deep, and she can't swim up all at once. She has to stay in the sea for five minutes, otherwise she will get decompression sickness—— Nitrogen bubbles grow in your brain and you will die. They only had one flashlight and three flares (for driving away the sharks), and on the way up, when the last flare was used up, and when they flashed the flashlights all around again, they were surrounded by sharks.
Two people who were bitten to their last breath by a shark were rescued aboard the boat.
Are the two really rescued?
All of the above are all Lisa's hallucinations.
lisa is still at the bottom of the sea, and kate is long dead.
In the end, Lisa was rescued.
The plot is very compact, the logic is very reasonable, and the atmosphere is full of marks. There were a few times in the middle that I was scared and screamed ==
All in all, it's ok, recommended.
