The movie Paddington Bear 2 is a masterpiece that I saw again this year after Dreaming Travels. But in fact, the two are not easy to compare. One is animation, and the other is real shooting plus virtual animation characters. But the animated character in "Paddington 2" - Paddington is really well drawn, distinctive and deeply rooted.
The stories of good eventually triumphing over evil are plentiful, old-fashioned, and buggy (why are the good guys always locked up?) but that's the kind of dark humor. Being able to tell the plot well and arrange the plot well is really a means.
There are a lot of laughs, this is the power of comedy, don't admit it, there are many troubles at the end of the year, you need comedy to heal.
The plots after the jailbreak and the treasure hunt are more exciting than the last. The husband and wife team jointly solve the case, and the sister and brother help each other. The story is exciting, accidental, and logical. Prison Break reminds me of the American TV show "Prison Break" and the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" but not so dark. Grabbing that London pop-up book on the train reminded me of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The plot, the action, the comedy.
There are also many small details, and the skills of everyone in the family were revealed when Paddin was finally rescued. The director likes to use an overhead wide-angle lens to create a grand scene and see the story from a "God's point of view", such as the scene when Paddington was just imprisoned, the scene of two nuns with candles walking around the church, etc.
The interspersed music is nice and pushes the plot, with some musical elements. The film's easter egg is the performance of "Singing in the Rain", including the criminal's role as an actor, helping to promote plays and musicals.
The director of the film pursued a kind of feeling, and the sights of London are integrated into the story. There is a scene of seeing the night view of London Bridge from a hot air balloon after escaping from prison, which is so beautiful and exciting. This is a feeling and praise for the city of London. (Although the city of London is beautiful and developed, there are also small-minded villains.)
The criminal is a powerful "player". A person can play many roles, it is not easy to be detected, and the imitation is in place. But he may have been forced to sell dog food and had no money before he thought of stealing it, but the song and dance performance of the Easter egg at the end was also an affirmation of the actor. Dark humor is very rich.
The contrast is very delicate. Paddington wants the book just for its aunt, and the criminal wants money, Paddington wants to escape just to prove his innocence, and the inmate wants to get away. It's a human contrast.
The ending is a bit rushed, but the easter eggs are interesting.
A few memorable lines: No matter how bad human nature is, there is still a good side.
The actor is definitely one of the most evil and treacherous people in the world.
This is a train, and like life, there is always an end.
I like Paddington Bear because he's kind, cute, not fat, nimble, not fierce, not hurtful, and he's hilarious. Another point, except its body and ears, its face looks like a border shepherd, and also like my steamed bun (a dog)
Talking about family affection is not hypocritical, and talking about human nature will not make a lot of sense. It is such a relaxed and relaxed movie, and a movie with comedy and musical flavors, which is worth watching in this cold winter.
