"Out of tune" is obviously a comedy, but it has touched my lacrimal glands many times. Aunt May performed so well, why is everyone's rating so low?

"Out of tune" is based on a true story, telling the story of Florence, an opera lover with a tone-deafness, singing from a private club all the way to Carnegie Hall.
Despite coming from a privileged family environment, Florence's life was not smooth. At the age of 18, she was infected with syphilis by her husband when she was newly married. In that era when it was impossible for her to live for 20 years with syphilis, she lived for nearly 50 years, but she lost her right to reproduction and sexual well-being forever.
Florence has lived a life where she doesn't know if tomorrow will come, but she has never given up her efforts. Because she has music. Music is my life, she said.
She is proud of playing the piano for the president in the White House when she was a child; she ran away from home for music when she was young, and was not afraid of her father's threat to cut off the source of income; she deeply regretted that she could not play the piano because of nerve problems in her hand.
She dragged a sick body and was indomitable. She liked to sing and practiced constantly, and even held solo concerts; she established a music club and recorded her own records as Christmas gifts for everyone.
Her love for music is deeply rooted in her bones, and she is willing to wash dishes in exchange for musicians to play, and even Aiwujiwu generously sponsors talented musicians.
She is nearly 70 years old, because of a compassionate heart, regardless of her poor health, she performed a charity performance at Carnegie Hall with more than 3,000 seats, just because she heard a mother died in the war on the radio son to sing. Because she has experienced the peace of mind that music presents, she also wants to use music to heal people who have been hurt by war.
However, God did not give her the return she expected because of her love for music. Despite practicing hard, she still sings terrible. If it wasn't for the fact that her husband had been bribing the audience, bribing the media, and caring for her in an "ignorant and happy" environment, I'm afraid she would have been devastated by secular public opinion.
At Carnegie Hall, the audience has grown far beyond her husband's control. Florence's bad singing was mercilessly ridiculed by the vulgar and drunken bullies.
But her friends bravely stood up for her. Because they know that the real value of Florence is not because of how good a singer she is, but because she has loved music all her life, that kind of love with all her heart. For them, Florence's dedication and passion for music and perseverance in life are invaluable.
Her husband Bayfield said it was music that kept her alive for so long. It is her love of life that keeps her antagonism. In the end, her fantasy self sang beautifully on stage. The lyrics say, I will never sing again, if not for you. A true heart can only be understood by those who have a true heart.

I have a friend who was also deaf a few years ago, but she would bravely pick up the mic every time at a KTV party. We met again not long ago, and she sang a few songs in English, which amazed the whole audience.
However, not everyone succeeds because of practice. In real life, many things may not pay off even if you try your best. So what's the point of our efforts?
Florence answered the question: "People can say I can't sing, but they can't say I've never sang." A lot of things are really about the process, and the outcome is beyond our control. If we don’t even have the courage to try to see if our dreams can come true, and we set up countless obstacles in our minds, how can we be successful?
Some people may say, don't be ashamed if you don't have talent, and judge others based on the so-called IQ superiority. In our life, many people don't even have dreams, and they don't even know what they want.
Her husband kept saying to her in the last moments of her life, wonderful! Wonderful! What is wonderful is her dedication to music and her enthusiastic attitude towards life. A person who is serious about life, the best wealth left to the world is that she has lived a real life.
Life is a play, not everyone is a genius, like when you want to like it, even if God never gave you talent, but you work hard to love, even if you can't succeed in the end, even if you are laughed at by others.
In the end, I praised Aunt Mei as always, every move, every look, and my whole body were full of drama. It really is my favorite Aunt Mei.
