This marriage started because of Alyosha. If the female protagonist was not pregnant, she would not marry the male protagonist. Alyosha fell victim to this failed marriage, and since his birth was a mistake, it had to be erased. The beginning of the film is that the lake is covered with white snow, pale and desolate, and it is against this desolate background that Alyosha appears alone, which is even more desolate. The film also ends with this scene. The tree that Alyosha threw up hangs high on the tree, the cloth is fluttering in the wind, and the person is no longer there, echoing the beginning and the end, symbolizing the tragic cycle from life to death.
The irony is that the male protagonist's lover is also pregnant at this moment and his belly has bulged obviously, and the male protagonist still has to have sex with his lover in this situation. This is entirely out of the most primitive sexual desire rather than reproductive purposes. At this moment he is a man, not a husband. This not only hints at the reason for the failure of the previous marriage, but also indicates that his future marriage will be equally unhappy. In the face of children, he seems impatient and cannot bear the responsibility of being a father, let alone a qualified husband.
And the heroine found an old man with white hair and freckles that was much older than herself and was about to bald. Of course, this was related to the lack of her father's love. The lover's daughter was in a distant foreign country, and there was a clip of a father and daughter video. After chatting, he went to appease the heroine. It is not difficult to see that the relationship between the heroine and the lover is more like the love and dependence between the father and the daughter, not an equal lover relationship. Therefore, it is impossible for the heroine to try to find the taste of love in her lover.
Therefore, there is no love in this movie, whether it is a wife and a husband, a wife and a lover, a husband and a mistress, or even a parent and a child. These distorted and deformed relationships are like a dense net covering the society, binding everyone, which is the tragedy of modern life.
