This is not a film review, just some trivial self-questioning and self-answering generated during watching the film, read and write as you go, and keep a backup. There are professional film critics out there.
A film by Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. The first time I saw Robert De Niro in such a weak role, he used to be a mob boss.
First of all, I have to say that this movie is based on a true story, and I feel empowered every time I say that. Because there are always many people who say that movies are fictional, they have no actual reference value for life.
The story goes something like this: Robin, a psychiatrist, accidentally discovered a drug that could wake a catalepsy patient, a medical miracle, and the patient may have survived like a rock Twenty or thirty years. Robert De Niro's character is one of the patients, who is fully recovered as a normal person and who is also in love with a girl. However, suddenly and soon after, the condition of these patients deteriorated again and returned to the previous state.
It's very simple for me to say this, so I still feel a lot about watching movies. Just tell me your personal feelings. In fact, just like life, we suddenly wake up (come into the world), and then we don't know when we fall asleep completely. So does this journey make sense? Like these patients, does that period of time when they wake up suddenly make sense to them?
In fact, there are still some, in the short waking time, they found very important things, which can be called things that make their life worthwhile. The movie made the audience emotionally change, and at first fell into despair, because the patients were really pale. After waking up, it was so beautiful, as if there was always hope in the world. But in the end hope was shattered again...
What can we say? Isn't that life. Perhaps the only thing we can do about it is to live a good, serious life until fate doesn't plan bad things.
