my story
After watching "Tony Erdman" , the third uncle happened to pass through this memory.
More than ten years ago, my father sent me to Beijing for an internship.
On my last day with me, the company held an exhibition at the Agricultural Exhibition Hall. He took me to the security checkpoint (I could not enter without a certificate) and said, "I'm back in Tangshan. You can watch it yourself. It's alright. Dad will call you when you get home." telephone. I said: Hmm. Then turned around and walked away.
At that moment, my mind went blank. I followed the flow of people blindly to the exhibition hall, and then turned around to find my father who was leaving. His originally tall back had already become one of the many strangers.
Over the years, when my father was drinking with a colleague, he talked about "throwing" me in a strange city. He said: Looking at my young back, he turned around and cried. He added: I didn't expect this kid to be okay, he made it through. Then took a deep drink. With a warm heart, I pretended to be calm on the side.
Every parting in life is a painting that depicts each other. You must know that when you look for another back, yours has already been deeply imprinted in the minds of others.
Emotions are like this, there are not many words, and when I turn around, a transmission is completed. They spread through time, and although they sometimes do not know it, they are also placed there.
See you soon.

Synopsis: Winf Redd is an eccentric old man who lives alone, with a lot of "outdated" sense of humor, and loves playing another guy - Tony Erdman. Suddenly one day he decides to "break into" the life of his daughter (Ines) whom he has not seen for many years, hoping to reconcile with her in his own way, but this is an embarrassing "disaster" for her...
The film has a lame, slow start, with a failed marriage, a seriously ill pet dog, and a paralyzed mother making his life uninteresting, and Winver Redd's overflowing sense of humor and embarrassment at every turn. It seems that only the familiar and unfamiliar daughter is the ray of hope in his life, so a trip that says to go and a company that no one agrees to begin like this.
Winver Red owes her daughter. The lack of father's love for a long period of time, the estrangement in lifestyle, and the difference in cognitive background made the daughter suddenly come to him, which is a bit overwhelming. As a result, the gap between father and daughter is getting bigger and bigger, so that the daughter, who has been severely frustrated in life and work, has to ask him to go home first to calm down the out of control state. Seeing the back of her father leaving, her daughter burst into tears.
But Winver Red did not go home, but put on dentures and turned into "Tony Erdman" and returned to her daughter's life. This denture is like a switch between reality and absurdity, enabling Tony to make up various "identities" that can be approached to his daughter, such as German ambassadors, celebrity friends, consultants, coaches, businessmen...
The daughter also reluctantly brought (follows) fathers of various identities to a funny scene show - each identity and each scene embarrassingly "coordinated" with the father's magic. In the process, the father "takes off" his daughter's protective coat, causing the two hearts to face each other. The daughter began to understand and appreciate the good intentions of her father, and at the same time began to reflect on herself and the life around her.
In the end, the father and daughter reconciled, and the daughter put on the "magic" dentures at the right time and switched to the father-daughter channel.
after watching
"Tony Erdman" is a two-and-a-half-hour boring film. It can be said that the film itself is an alternative, a little bit of Tony's eccentric personality. With only dialogue as a "weapon", the director took great pains to portray the characters, and let the actors complete the character arc shaping by "chatting" indifferently and passively in different scenes.
At the end, the director actually used two consecutive unconventional climaxes to increase the excitement of the movie.
The first climax is when Tony posing as the German ambassador to visit a local celebrity, accompanied by his daughter's hysterical song, like a release of pressure for all the chaos her father has brought into her life. At the end of the incident, the hostess, who had already seen Tony's identity, changed Tony's opinion with a gesture of goodwill. Reminds me of the saying "see through but not say through" is a great realm in life, and children need this for their parents who are getting older. Facing the elderly who are gradually separated from society, we need what they did to us when they were young. , take the trouble, and carry the embarrassment together.
The second orgasm was the naked party without warning. Children come naked in front of their parents, but as they grow up, they dress up layer by layer to hide themselves. And this party once again gave her daughter the courage to be naked in front of her colleagues, friends and father. At the end of the incident, Tony, who left the party alone in a behemoth costume, was chased by his daughter, called Dad, gave a hug, and then the two of them didn't part with their goodbyes. I don't know if Tony in the mask cried, but this time "farewell" It is the real reunion of father and daughter.
The director made good use of the gap between the dull and awkward atmosphere and the sudden emotional outburst , so that the audience's emotions were released exceptionally full, and the warmth of watching the reconciliation between father and daughter was exactly what I wanted but never expected. The third uncle can only sigh that we need to give some time for some seemingly dull movies, and if we keep watching, we will have huge surprises.
"Most of the time in life is often occupied by daily chores, doing this, doing that, and time is like flowing water. Life is also like this, how can we grasp every moment of life? Sometimes I'll remember...you learning to ride a bike when you were a kid, and the day I found you at the bus stop, unfortunately, we're always just in hindsight, and when you're in the game, Can't perceive..."
Every reunion in life reveals an inexplicable strangeness, and every nostalgia is also many years later. Over time, they are all growing.
When parents look at their children, they always think of their children's childhood; just as when children look at their parents again, they always see their parents when they are young. It's just that they are getting old and we are getting older.
Who first pretended to be a monster to scare the once weak you in the corner? Who picked up the frightened you, looked at you and laughed? Do you remember that ugly monster?
The third uncle remembered that because my child was two and a half years old, his parents were in their sixties.
