Based on true events, the film focuses on the story of a young German couple, Daniel and Lena, who rebelled against the Chilean junta leader and dictator Pinochet during the 1973 Chilean coup. At the height of the Chilean coup d'état, Daniel was kidnapped by Pinochet's men to a secret base known as the Colony of Dignity. It was a gathering place built by former German Nazis who fled to Chile, and the military government carried out a lot of torture work and secret human experiments, and none of the kidnapped people ever escaped the "colony" alive. However, Daniel's wife Lena did not give up. She found the base and planned to rescue her husband.
