I originally watched this movie because I liked Dylan Thomas' poetry, but the real core of the movie is this rare friendship between the two women in Thomas's life. Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller's captivating performances are a highlight of the film. When men are unreliable, in fact, women support each other is king. The important characters in this film are imperfect characters trying to survive the war. The focus of the film is not on the ugliness of war but on the ugliness between people in our daily lives: there is betrayal, there are lies, but there is friendship and there is a woman's self-improvement.

The poet is a scum, and the soldier was severely traumatized after the war; the two women cherished each other in loneliness. Even outside the context of war, stories like this happen every day. Want to know if the KK song in it is sung by yourself? ! It's so good! !

It's nothing more than a simple four-cornered love story, and it also draws out hope and disappointment, the desire for redemption, the same-sex friendship that can't stand the long foreshadowing in the front, but the explosion of the characters in the back does not live up to expectations, although the soulful freshness is not fresh enough, and the deep despair is not enough.
