You can watch it without spitting on the plot.

Don't rant about the plot. I felt weird at a certain point during the viewing process, why does it often happen all of a sudden? Why did she suddenly run out of the base, why did the heroine suddenly fly, and why did her mother die suddenly (I still doubt that her mother needs to die). The script is not particular, making the various narratives very complicated. But the male protagonist's performance is too good, and the various small expressions in each scene are very Su-every-. In addition, there are still foreshadowings in the plot. For example, who his father was, his parents' small gestures were hinted at the beginning of the public speech. And he kept asking where he liked the most on Earth, the answers from passers-by, his father's answer, his little girlfriend's answer, and the non-answer on the bus were all very interesting. Besides, am I really the only one who thinks that the two actors who play his uncle and the fucking actors really look alike?
Aside from these logical things, the scene is beautiful, the soundtrack is beautiful, the interaction between the male and female protagonists is very emotional, and it still arouses my inner yearning for beautiful feelings and a magnificent world. Originally, I was in a very irritable mood. I wanted to find a movie to get rid of my original mood and heal it. This movie did it.
I'll leave it to everyone to find the logical things, there are really many loopholes in the middle. I can only confirm that it is still available in this schedule.

The Space Between Us quotes

  • Sarah Elliot: [standing before the crowd] Sorry if we only have time for a couple of questions. You know what it's like the night before a trip.

    [laughter]

Scott Hubbard: Scott Hubbard, Aerospace Times. Miss Elliot, how does is feel to sacrifice? The next four years of your life.

Sarah Elliot: It's not a sacrifice, it's an opportunity I feel... I feel humbled, excited, and greatful for the chance to be a pioneer.

Reporter: Miss Elliot aren't you scared? Given the history, given the dangers?

Sarah Elliot: Of course. I'm scared that I might let the mission down in some way. I was taught that people who took risks without fear were brave. Well, far braver are those who take risks *despite* their fear. Courage is fear that has said it's prayers.

    [applause]

  • Gardner Elliot: What is your favorite thing about Earth?

Nathaniel Shepherd: Rain. My turn. What is your favorite thing to do on Mars?

Gardner Elliot: To pretend it's Earth.
