It's not that I don't want to be kind, it's that I'm not brave enough

Today, I want to talk about two movies, one is called "Far From Heaven" and the other is called "Guardian of Caring People", both of which are related to racism, kindness, and finally, courage.

"Far From Heaven"

"Far Away" is a remake of "Deep Locking Spring and One Courtyard Sorrow" in 1955, its original name was "all the heaven"

allows". But I prefer this translation. Here I want to say a little digression: in the early days of China, it was required that foreign films imported into China needed to use some ancient Chinese poems and beautiful words as translation names, so there were a series of poetic translation names, such as "Bitter Rain Loves Spring Breeze", "Blue Sea Qingtian Yeye" Heart". I think it is really very good. It can explain the theme of the film in one sentence, and it can also integrate traditional culture. Why is the current translation name so mediocre? Speaking of translated names, my favorite translations are "Love in June Flowers" and "She's Lonely Than Fireworks". Their real names are the names of the protagonists. Is the translated name more connotative?

Closer to home, this film is an advanced version of "Everything Heaven Allows." The old film is simply an extramarital affair, a lonely young woman with money falls in love with a gardener, and the issue of social class is the limit of free love. So this film is a bit sophisticated to move homosexuality and black racial discrimination into the relationship between the characters. Fortunately, I think the director handled it fairly well. Julianne Moore's perfect wife finds out her husband is gay and develops feelings for a cultured and talkative black gardener. But in those days, homosexuality was not recognized, and black people were still slaves, which prevented her, her husband, and the black gardener from free love. The biggest feeling I felt when watching this film was that the "as long as there is enough love, everything is not a problem" that I had always believed in was really not the truth in the United States at that time. The secular race, same-sex measure completely and heavily influenced people's free love at that time. If the heroine chooses to go with the black gardener, then they will not only face worldly vision for this love, but also have serious problems of survival. The black gardener is rational. He understands that if he chooses a female lead, then he and his daughter will face huge survival problems, so he stifled this relationship in the cradle. Therefore, I have always felt that women are really braver than men in the face of feelings, and they can ignore everything and give up everything. She bravely faced the accusations of the world and went in and out with the black gardener, and was willing to go with him at the last minute. She chose kindness and bravery, but she naively thought she could overcome everything. I find it very uncomfortable, because the reason why they can't be together is not a problem at all today. The problem they faced was really a huge gap at the time, and I was anxious just looking at it.

"Guardian of the Heart"

And when it comes to another movie, it is called "Weakness", and another name is more tender, it is called "Guarding People with Hearts". It also involves racial discrimination, but compared to the racial discrimination in "Far From Heaven", the racial issue in this film is not known much better. And it's a movie based on true events

, everything that happens in the movie is true!

However, the racial problem cannot be eradicated. Although it seems peaceful coexistence now, in the United States, it is still different. Don't you think a lot of second- and third-rate movies are white movies with only white people and black movies with only black people? There are only some blockbusters, and there will be a small number of first-line big-name blacks integrated into white movies, which are very few. Of course, this cannot be entirely blamed on the racial issues of whites, blacks themselves have some problems. The film tells the tender story of a rich white family who takes in a black child. What is rare is that there are almost no bad guys in this film. Most of the white people who appear next to the black children are very kind, and they will never bully even if they don't accept it. If the wife played by Sandra Bullock had money and power, and she had the confidence and status to take the initiative to take in black people, I believe that more ordinary people would choose to be indifferent. This black kid is one of the very lucky few, but that luck doesn't necessarily fall on every poor black kid.

So I really think that most people are not kind enough, but not brave enough. More importantly, they can put kindness into action only when their economic and social status reaches a certain level. Angelina Jolie adopted so many black children. But not every ordinary family can turn kindness into motivation to achieve. There are so many places where we are restricted. Sometimes it is difficult to support ourselves, let alone adopt others. Our social status is not high enough, and even sympathy and charity are afraid of being drowned by worldly saliva. Therefore, although most of us have throbbing in our hearts, we choose to remain silent. At this time, I remembered the famous saying in "Cinderella": have

courage and be

kind. is also the personal signature in my movie WeChat. What a simple sentence, but really easier said than done. Therefore, I still work hard to earn money and live a serious life, so that I can become an independent individual who is not afraid of being accidentally drowned by the world's eyes, so that I have the courage to put kindness into practical actions.
