I still remember after watching "Fahrenheit 911", the reporter asked the crowd if you were willing to give up some of your freedom for safety.

Some voted in the affirmative, thinking it was a reasonable sacrifice.

However, when all emails, text messages, call logs, call durations are monitored, is the answer still the same?

As J. Applebaum said at the European Conference Hearings in "Citizen Four" to investigate the NSA's surveillance of EU citizens and companies, "What we used to call freedom is now privacy, and at the same time, we say Privacy is dead, we lose privacy, we lose the medium, we lose freedom itself"

So the question is, what is the degree here?
