I wanted to see this movie a long time ago, but never did. Saw a clip of the movie the other day, Rosie opened the door and saw her daughter and boy each lying on the carpet listening to music with earplugs. The daughter called mum shyly, Rosie said sorry, then closed the door and leaned against the wall to snicker. At that moment, Rosie's smile could tell that she had had a similar time before. Because of this clip, it gave me enough curiosity to find a suitable time to watch this movie.
The film is as full of sunshine as Lily. It's getting harder and harder to get the chance to immerse yourself in a movie, so that time is getting more and more precious. The British humour of the film makes people laugh out loud from time to time. What struck me even more was the way Rosie and her family and friends approached life. Despite Rosie's unwanted pregnancy, they gave her full support.
And Rosie's friend with brightly dyed hair, smoking a cigarette in the drugstore, "I have the final say on my site" kind of casual domineering, which made me question myself, have I ever existed so casually?
In the end, although the process was bumpy, the result was beautiful. This seems to make me firm up another point: it is yours, it will be yours after all.
Life is too short to waste time. Dreams cannot be forgotten. Otherwise, life will lose its meaning.
