own tragedy

I heard that there are discrepancies between the movie and the original book. The following is only for the movie. Is the male protagonist the villain? ! Heathcliff, what else do you know besides revenge? The heroine is married and harassing others. The most hateful thing is to seduce Lyndon's sister, who looks hostile to the whole world. The main problem of the heroine lies in the contradiction between herself and reality. She loves the hero, but reality forces her to choose Linden. Even after marriage, she is still in conflict. Her vacillation and the male lead's excessive self-esteem and revenge are the root of the tragedy here.

The Lyndons in the movie are downright good people. Not to mention that Linden took good care of the heroine, even allowing his wife to meet with Heathcliff after Heathcliff came back was surprisingly generous and tolerant. Sister Linden is just a simple little girl. She was deceived by the male protagonist.
