It's a movie I can't forget

Been watching for a few days. Still think of the characters and lines and scenes in it from time to time. The chicken soup I thought at first was completely overturned by my over and over thinking. I have a question, and I haven't found a good answer from many movie reviews, but someone should have noticed it? 3 colleagues, are they his 3 inner branches? The three actors invited are his attitude towards life. That is, is it actually all himself?

When Love broke down at one point and said to quit the game, Death said, I can play the love part, I can play all of it, and it gave me goosebumps instantly. And while his wife was crying in the hallway because of the loss of her daughter, Death sat beside her and said, don't forget to appreciate the beauty that comes with being complicated sometimes.

All of him, finally reconciled with himself. He embraced his wife and returned to himself. At this time, all of him were chosen to be invisible.

I can't forget this movie over and over again. I really feel that a movie that tells a good story has been underrated.

I got up late at night and digged for movie reviews, but I couldn't find any that could reasonably explain the movie itself, so I thought about it.

The story is about the process by which the protagonist who died of her daughter faces the pain and walks out of the denial. The play is a deconstruction of the process. This deconstruction is achieved by concretizing the three elements surrounding the protagonist, love, time and death, into roles and interacting with the protagonist. ; The reversal of the fusion of the branch line of the mutual aid group and the main line is not convincing. The supporting role is supported by simple and effective branch lines, but it is still thin. The emotions conveyed by the actors’ excellent performances make up for the lack of roles.

The narrative technique of this film is indeed not very clever. It is not the situation that conveys the emotion, but the long and obscure dialogue, so the first half is a bit boring. But at the end, I felt like I had opened up the eight meridians, and I couldn't help but want to score a higher score. btw, American screenwriters, can you stop making jokes about China? not funny at all

Collateral Beauty quotes

  • Whit: Why don't you want to spend the holiday with me? I miss you.

Allison: Because I hate you. Because you're a philanthropist. Because you broke Mom's heart.

    Whit: Philanderer.

    Allison: What?

Whit: The word you're looking for is philanderer, not philanthropist. They have a slightly different meaning.

    Allison: Well, you would know.

  • Brigitte: Death is so much more vital than Time.

    Simon: Right.

Brigitte: Death gives Time all of its value.
