Two men who deny and oppress a certain part of their lives collide, redeem each other in the process of collision, integrate the shadow of denial and oppression into their lives, and then regain the courage to face reality, and finally live out themselves. the way you want.

Xia Li is an executive of Future Bank. He lives a life like chicken blood all day long, eliminating all parts of his life that have nothing to do with work. Except for work and positive energy, his life is barren like a desert, and he can't feel it. Some trivial things - flight of ladybugs, wet feet, beautiful blue sky and grass, music... He was kidnapped by his work and his intimacy drifted away from him.

At some point, he met George with Down syndrome. He satisfies George's appetite, satisfies his dependence, and has to endure (tolerate) his boredom, bad temper, and distractions. He also saw the flight of ladybugs, the blue sky and the sea, and the feeling of his feet being wet by the waves. The repressed parts of Xia Lineri began to be released. His wife didn't let him see his daughter, and he went over the wall to see her. His wife didn't let him get close, and he turned into a dog crawling on the ground and wanted to kiss. But the release was too unscrupulous, and he still didn't get the intimacy he wanted.

With George's help, he integrates shadows, superego and id to achieve a new balance. In the gorgeous fireworks, he reached some kind of reconciliation with his wife and daughter.

George, a child with Down's syndrome, used defense mechanisms of denial and pretense throughout his life and refused to accept his mother's death. He insisted on going back to the home that no longer belonged to him, looking for the sister who couldn't take care of him, unreasonably asking for beautiful shoes from the salesman, and relying on Xia Li no matter how annoying or inconvenient he was. In short, it is a kind of noise of "I don't care, I want it, I want my mother", and the inner part is that I don't want my mother to leave me.

Seeing Xia Li driving back in the rain to save the helpless and lonely self, George seems to have really found his long-lost mother. George sits in the car, (fantasy) Mom sits behind him, and the idol sings his favorite opera in the front of the car. The redemption of Xia Li's return is, in a way, his mother.

It seems that after this, George begins to feel what Shari feels like as a subject, sees his need for intimacy, his hysteria and helplessness, and uses his powers to help him. After helping Xia Li reconcile with his wife and children, George can see his mother's death at once. He felt unprecedented loneliness, the world he wanted could not be given, everyone had their own life, and no one would love and take care of themselves like a mother. After taking the risk to taste the kilogram force that can kill him, he also felt the feeling of flying like a seven-star ladybug, and at the moment of landing, he could finally reunite with his mother.

After helping Xia Li, George calmly accepted the reality.

Finally, let's talk about the unreal part of the movie.

George is in a binary relationship with his mother, and it is impossible for him to explore sex without going through the Oedipus period. So the scene where he explores sex with another mentally ill girl is too unreal, it's just the director's romanticized expression.
