Similar question to Law Abiding Citizen. The stem is good, the story is a bit weak overall. In comparison, "Ace vs. Ace" has a better sense of rhythm, but "Law Abiding Citizen" is more emotionally arousing.

The casting and acting style of the protagonist is a major failure, and the emotional identity is low. The protagonist has no personality.

Gary Gray is supposed to be a great director with great rhythm control, and the story is always bright but incomplete. It's great as a commercial. The most important thing for a commercial film is to have a climax, and the second best thing is to have a little reversal or think about value. Gary Gray fits the bill pretty well (though he's a little more popular and less recognizable).
