Maybe the movie wasn't as bad as I thought

Maybe the first reaction of many people after watching this movie is: I don't understand it, this is not playing cards according to the routine! But after careful reflection, I found that this is the reality, and this is the way life is. In the end, the male and female protagonists did not stay together but continued to live their own lives, but left a trace in each other's life that was neither heavy nor light enough for the male protagonist to be relieved. In fact, the audience should be relieved. Isn't life like this, there are not so many incredible miracles waiting for you to happen. We can change its direction, we can widen its trajectory, it may not be the same as we expected, but it will always continue. Perhaps it is the unsatisfactory results that make the process so precious and rewarding. I have been lost, so I have worked hard, and I have no regrets in my life. Such an experience may become a treasure that the corner of my mouth will not consciously rise in retrospect, and will accompany me for a lifetime.

    What is this movie about?

The ending is very novel. It's not a hug, kiss, and dance party. If it were me, it's hard to say that I would make a really firm choice. Most of the episodes are really slow.

Paper Towns quotes

  • Quentin Jacobsen: Margo always loved mysteries. And in everything that came afterward, I could never stop thinking that maybe she loved mysteries so much that she became one.

  • Quentin Jacobsen: What a treacherous thing to believe that a person is more than a person.
