Although I haven't read the original comics, I can see the tone of Netflix when I see the title. The exploration of human nature is not new. The 90-minute period is quite satisfactory. The body movements of the black brother can feel like the stereotypes of Japanese actors, and the final little conspiracy of the female supporting actor is not unexpected. There was a clue when she said "I love you" under the porch. The appearance of the Death Note made her see the hope of breaking away from the ordinary and boring life, and she could become the god who rules the life and death of others. So her body became her stepping stone, paving the way for the final deception in the name of love step by step.
At least Light did not sell his soul throughout the whole process, with an open ending and suspense. If the box office is estimated to be considerable, there will be 2.
