I was left pondering what REALLY happened at the end of this movie. It was certainly very different than I had expected. I thought it was going to be a fantasy movie, but it's super realistic, from early England cities to deep jungle treks. Although still interesting, don't expect magical creatures or multicolored jungles. Expect a human struggle, facing not only wild animals but also wild people and even cannibals, as well as doubt and betrayal of our fellow man. This is the kind of movie that makes you wonder, what would you do if you were him? And, at the end, makes you wonder what really happened after the movie ended, since this was based on a true story after all.
The end of the movie left me thinking deeply about what actually happened in the end. This is completely different from what I expected. I thought it was a fantasy at first, but it's actually super realistic, from early England cities to deep jungle adventures. The movie is fun, but it doesn't have any fantastical creatures or colorful jungles in it. It tells the struggle of a human who needs to face challenges from wild animals, savages and even cannibals, as well as the suspicion and betrayal of his peers. This kind of movie makes you think about what you would do if you were the protagonist. Also, the ending of the movie also makes you wonder what's going to happen next, because after all, this is based on a true story.
