On the Importance of Finding a Good Lawyer

This film puzzled me from the very beginning. The stockbroker who was still talking about elections at the beginning found such a bad lawyer? Simpson just recommends that you don't have to go to jail! And why are white-collar elites with no previous convictions locked up in places full of murderers? It does not reflect the specialties of economic criminals at all, and even the fighting is not so exciting. The only bright spot is probably the rivalry between the little brother who wants to sell arms and the male protagonist. The kids who didn't want to join the gang became the only ones who could get away with it. I thought the black policeman who had a lot of stories turned out to be just a policeman, which only shows that his acting skills are very good.

Shot Caller quotes

  • Bottles: The fact is, we all started out as someone's little angel. And a place like this forces us to become warriors or victims. Nothing in between can exist here.

  • The Beast: These cops think the more they lock us down and isolate us it strips us from our power, they even think we are a dying breed, they're dead fucking wrong.
