Conversation in the dark begins. Then saw a lonely old man and his young neighbor who wanted to live like a man. The entire film is about Blake filing for unemployment benefits over the winter. There's nothing wrong with the "job center" staff, they're just doing the job well according to the system, yes, there's nothing wrong, but it's hard, they don't see human nature when they work, Ann is a good person. Blake is a good man, born as a man, i am a man, pays taxes on time, obeys the law, and treats people with kindness. He said that he was lost after his wife passed away and met three members of the katie family. The movie did not set a plot to tell why Blake wanted to help them, but it happened that it was better, born as a human being, with the kindness it deserves.
The katie family, displaced and living without dignity? Can't resist eating canned food at the food pantry, stealing sanitary pads at the supermarket, and exchanging her body for money so that her daughter doesn't get ridiculed. Ah, the old angel Blake showed up and healed the family.
In the end, Blake fell on the road to appeal, seemingly one step closer to his rights as a citizen. Yes, it's just one step away, but his body can't stand the cold winter. He almost sold out the furniture. He should go to Molly.
Reality, not so good, even cruelly deprives you of your rights as a human being. But as a human being, you have the right to choose warmth and cold blood.
