To be honest, I don't really like the style of the film. Some plots are as serious and calm as possible, and in some places, the lyricism is slightly deliberate. In my opinion, enough to convey the truth, but not enough impact. Maybe it's not a feature film after all, or maybe it's just such a style, my little brother is ignorant and ignorant, please forgive me if I offend.
I give it four stars, mainly for the story itself, not the film. On the whole, what impressed me the most was the part about the people's court and the part about writing the last words. The people's court is extremely ironic. Where there are people, only a judge is cursing with a blue vein on his head. There are no prosecutors, no witnesses, and defense lawyers don't say a word. After all, the contrast with the calm and arrogance of the defendant is very sharp, and it makes people understand who is judging who. At the same time, the contrast between the three defendants is also very obvious. The three people have different perspectives and mentalities, but they do not mean to criticize a certain person. As for the part of writing her last words, I think it is a very important part of the film's endowment of humanity to the hero. Hearing the collapse when the execution is about to happen, it makes people understand that she is not mentally prepared for death long ago. When death comes She also collapses and panics when she is in the throes, but overcoming fear and helplessness and choosing that path is her charm.
(The following is a bit of a bummer.) Regarding the film, I feel that many places were shot in a documentary style. They were all medium-distance shots, which were enough to express the truth, but it seemed a bit bland. Express status, intimacy of relationship. But on second thought, because of the seriousness of the subject matter, it may not be easy to present in this lens, so this is very contradictory, or it may be that I am too impetuous, not necessarily all films have a strong visual impact.
Overall, still recommend it. After all, I don't know about it without this movie. The role of literary and artistic works also includes the transmission of knowledge and the expansion of history.
