The background of "Circle" is set in the future, and the heroine Mae, played by Emma Watson, works for an Internet technology giant company called "Circle". The company linked all of a user's personal information to its operating system, and thus ushered in a new era of the Internet. Mae meets a mysterious colleague named Kalden at the company and falls in love with him. Kalden, played by John Boyega, whose real identity is one of the founders of the company, founded the system with his own genius, and finally realized the invasion of personal privacy by the "circle" and hoped to close it.
