The overall feel of the movie is a bit generic, even some of the jokes aren't hilarious, and the ending doesn't have the emotional resonance of The Lego Movie.
It's an undeniably well-scripted and entertaining film, but it doesn't live up to the high standards of the previous film, with its core theme of emphasizing the importance of family, and it feels much better than The Lego Movie's call for kids to question and despise The claims of authority are much more old-fashioned.
Part of the reason why I think "The Lego Batman Movie" is inferior to the former may also be because I didn't have high expectations for "The Lego Movie" at first, but it turned out to be a surprise, so I had quite a lot of expectations for "The Lego Batman Movie" Gao, who knows that this movie doesn't quite reach the level of the former.
Of course, for most domestic audiences who haven't seen "The Lego Movie", "The Lego Batman Movie" is still fresh and funny.
