If there is only one week left in my life, I just want to hit the road as soon as possible!

Recently, something happened around me and I couldn't help but want to write something!

I remember there was a scene in "Doctor Strange" where Dr. Strange, played by Cuan Fu, rejected the operation of a 68-year-old woman (she suffered from advanced glioma in the brainstem) in order not to be "destroyed". I think this guy is too cunning!

However, in the face of today's doctor-patient relationship, everyone should not be surprised by such a practice!

It is worth mentioning that, in the face of terminal illness, some things that seem to be particularly important on weekdays are all irrelevant! No money to buy a house, broken up, career is not going well... No matter how many difficulties in life, it is not as good as a good body~

And every time something like this happens around me, I like to relive a movie

--"the last week"

In the movie, Ben is told by the doctor that he is terminally ill and that the survival rate is only 10%. Frustrated, he postponed his upcoming wedding, bought a motorcycle, and set foot on the westbound road along Canada's famous Trans-Canada Highway.

And the reason for this is just because I bought a cup of Tim Hortons coffee. As usual, Ben turned the curls up in anticipation of hitting the jackpot, only to get a Go West Young Man revelation.

Next, as if he had received a revelation from God, he began a journey of freeing himself.

After a certain setback, people always expect some kind of power to emerge to help themselves overcome it! Along the way, Ben frantically chased the "best in the world", subconsciously wanting them to bring him power!

The largest 5 cents in the world

largest camel in the world

The largest totem in the world

On the way to the west, Ben also changed from being very old-fashioned to becoming more casual.

He took the story he created as a child and shouted the plot to the sky~

When he saw the beautiful sunset, he would put his motorcycle to the side of the road and slowly stare at the sun sinking in the west~

In order to prove to his fiancée that he does not have foot odor, he made a special trip to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist to smell it~

When he was sleepy on the road, he bumped into the body of a small animal. Ben fell to the side of the road with his motorcycle; when he learned that he did not hang up, he used the power of pop music to provoke a lame dance~ (he never dance)

Along the way, Ben experienced a lot of unexpected things, which he couldn't do according to his past self.

In fact, not long after departure, Ben wanted to go home! Because, he thought of the story of a pancreatic cancer patient. He spent all his savings, but found that he was misdiagnosed~ What if he was also misdiagnosed?

When he was about to go home, he ran into two little brats who just wanted to win a case of beer and bet that they would spend only 400 bucks and they would be able to travel from the easternmost point of Canada in 6 weeks. Ride to the far west.

Ben watched in astonishment as they walked away, picked up the Tim Hortons coffee mug in his hand, flipped the hem over, and won a donut. Next, he got on the motorcycle and continued westward!

On the way, he accidentally kissed the Stanley trophy, which gave him the strength to overcome the disease. He feels that all the spirits in heaven who have kissed trophy athletes can scare away cancer cells~

Next, Ben meets a woman who has been divorced twice without tears, but is crying because her dog died. On her farm, Ben rides a horse for the first time, fantasizing if he was a cowboy in his past life~

In the forests of Banff, Ben met a woman on foot, and she told him in small talk: Don't think too far, live in the moment!

Eventually, Ben rode to the Pacific Ocean, rented a skateboard and swam deep into the ocean! He saw a whale, and he believed that it was the Grumps he was looking for, the magical animal that his father called him when he was a child.

After a week of wayward madness, Ben is back with his family, who are more convinced of the miracles of medicine than Grumps!

As a stranger on the road said:

"

Whether marijuana can cure cancer or not, you already have the answer in your mind, I hope it does, bro, but I received the treatment!

On the journey westward, Ben is looking for miracles and helping people create miracles:

Because she was not hospitalized at first, the nurse escaped a catastrophe;

Because of her visit, the divorced woman ignited her enthusiasm for traveling, and she also met her partner for decades to come;

I met the couple at the beach, and it has become a stormy day. I firmly believe that life will become more and more beautiful.~

Miracle is something I really can't wait for. I have to take the initiative to find it and make it happen; if there is only one week left in my life, I also want to be on the road as soon as possible like Ben!

I dreamed I was dying as I so often do

I often dream that I'm going to die

And when I awoke I was sure it was true

When I wake up I'm sure it's true

I ran to the window threw my head to the sky

I ran to the window and stuck my head out to look at the sky

And said whoever is up there please don't let me die

Said: Whoever is up there please don't let me die

But I can't live forever I can't always be

But I can't live forever I can't live like this forever

One day I'll be sand on a beach by a sea

One day I'll be a grain of sand on the beach

The pages keep turning I'll mark off each day with a cross

Keep turning a new page I'll mark every day I spend with a cross

And I'll laugh about all that we've lost

I'll smile at everything we've lost
