after extreme control

The first thing I was curious about was the name of the movie, why is it called the limit of control? Who controls whom? What do you mean by the limit?
The whole movie is basically a series of male protagonists (why not choose a handsome guy? Why not choose a handsome guy??), he is quite self-disciplined and self-control, the same exercise every day, neat and spotless clothes, sitting upright Listening to music, abstinence, and most importantly, never closing your eyes while sleeping, are these all expressions of a person's ability to control himself? To say that the control is really inaccurate and uncomfortable, it seems to be another person's restraint on me; it is better to say that the whole life of the male protagonist is like practicing and meditating; it looks very regular, gentle and boring. life, in which a great deal of power is accumulated;
what can extreme self-control bring? It brings extreme freedom and brings the greatest imagination, allowing the male protagonist to complete the seemingly impossible task, easily entering and leaving the heavily guarded castle, killing people and then retreating.
I actually don't understand the movie, and I want to ask every shot, why is it shot like this, what does it mean? Can only guess, try to guess.
Why choose a black guy who looks a bit like a gorilla to play the male lead? I feel that there must be a deep meaning in it, and the sentence has been churning in my mind many times, "God is a black man"; (probably because the male protagonist never sleeps with his eyes closed, he thinks he is like a god)
I am willing to think of the whole movie as an experience of cultivating enlightenment , but what's the point of the people and conversations that appear in the middle, and what's the point of exchanging matchboxes? What is written above?

    Lone Man: I understand. But I understand subjectively.

    American: That's fucking nonsense. Your sick minds have been polluted with crap. Your music, movies, science. Fucking bohemians on hallucinogenic drugs. All that shit has poisoned you. And it has nothing to do with the real world. And I suppose you believe that by eliminating me, you will eliminate control over some fucking artificial reality.

    Lone Man: Reality is arbitrary.

    American: Fuck you.
