"Hannah Sisters" and "Diet Men and Women" Dive Comparison

Another Woody Allen movie. I thought it was a film full of complaints and a boring plot, but I didn't expect it to be so funny. The movie is full of humor: Eliot is always at odds with love, Mickey is always depressed and clumsy about the possibility of death. The three sisters' love is intertwined again. I can't help comparing this film to "Food Men and Women," after all, they're both multi-plot films, and they're also about a big family, and they're also about people finding their love. In my mind, this film is much better and more interesting than "Diet Men and Women". I try to analyze and analyze, but it's not necessarily better than getting better. The former's love stories seem to be independent of each other, but the characters are related to each other, while the latter's are independent of each other and do not interfere with each other. The former is rich in comedy (I prefer it), the latter lacks the humor of the former. The former's ending was expected, while the latter was somewhat unexpected. The former is more about comprehension of love, while the latter, I think, is more about finding. The former's love story is not conventional, while the latter's love story except Lao Zhu's is somewhat old-fashioned. For this, I prefer the former, which is the film. And then a couple of screenshots: The first one struck me as a bit deja vu, a bit like a shot of Godard (perhaps from Exhausted). The second one reminds me of a certain game chapter of a mobile game called "Escape the Cube: Rusty Roots" (a decryption genre that I especially like), kind of like. I especially like that last sentence.

Hannah and Her Sisters quotes

  • Elliot: It's hard to be around someone who gives so much and - and needs so little in return!

  • Norma: Hannah, can I tell everybody you're gonna play Desdemona?

Hannah: Oh, Mom, it's only television.

Norma: It's public television. To me, Shakespeare doesn't get any greater than Othello. You with some big black stud. I love it!
