From the first "Resident Evil: Deterioration" ten years ago, to the second "Resident Evil: Curse" five years ago, and this year's "Resident Evil: Revenge". Many viewers always have too much inexplicable nostalgia for the CG version of the "Resident Evil" series. Perhaps this is the charm of Capcom and the attraction of palace-level games.
Without further ado, let's quickly enter the CG movie review.
(The film tells the story of Glenn, who used a new virus to attack New York to avenge his deceased wife, to fight against the trio of Kaihang and justice)
I. Three main protagonists
Rebecca: The heroine of "Resident Evil 0", an expert in drug refining and blending, and a member of the STARS Barvo team.
Chris: The main male character of the series, the male protagonist of "Codename Veronica", a member of the STARS Alpha team, and an excellent shooter.
Leon: The main male character in the series, serving as the protagonist of the 2nd and 4th generation, is quite handsome, quite cool, and has a very high status in the hearts of game fans.
II.
Since the refreshing plot is an action game adaptation, it is meaningless if you just stick to the plot or insist on discussing a "philosophical ethics". When watching this type of film, the only criteria to be considered are refreshment, enthusiasm, and excitement. Obviously, this CG work has done it. The zombie headshots, gnawing, the two male protagonists single-handedly dance with corpses, and other scenes, the openness and refreshment are beyond the table. In just one and a half hours of drama, people's blood boiled.
III. Realistic
scenes, character design Many scenes, character designs and detail processing in the film have faithfully restored the scenes in the games of the past dynasties, with a strong sense of substitution and a sense of sight. Such as: Chris and his entourage investigate the Western Pavilion ("Western Pavilion Incident"); Rebecca appears in the vaccine laboratory (effectively connecting the game plot, explaining her specific movements after the Raccoon City tragedy), Leon's leather jacket, motorcycle Cars and heads-up zombie groups are all standard designs in the game. There are still many scenes in the picture that correspond to the game, and interested game fans can look for it carefully.
IV. Breath of Horror (Anticipate) The
CG opening chapter (that is, before Rebecca and Chris converged, this storyline), created a very good horror atmosphere, and the scenes full of terrifying mood made the game fans excited. But unfortunately, with the development of the story, the action scenes gradually replaced the terrifying atmosphere, and the opening of the 3-on-3 (Rebecca, Chris, Leon VS boss trio) fighting plot mode made the progress of the story seem boring.
V. Nostalgic Atmosphere (Chang Hong)
For veteran game fans, the "Resident Evil" series is a forever classic. Back then, when we were in college, we spent all night with our roommates and stayed in the dormitory to tackle the "Resident Evil". Every time we passed a level, we would high-five and shout excitedly. Time has passed, and the past can only be recalled. Now that we are "not confused", we no longer have such energy and physical strength to be obsessed with a certain game, but no matter how time changes, this nostalgic complex will never decline.
Write at the end. Thanks to "Resident Evil" (whether it is a game, CG animation, or live-action version) for bringing us so many unforgettable memories, I hope that in the future life journey, the series can bring more surprises to every game as always fan.
Director ★★★☆☆ (I have a very good grasp of the rhythm of the story, but the plot is a little less heated, and the overall feeling is not as good as the predecessor Makoto Kamiya)
Voice actor★★☆☆☆(Obviously not as good as Japanese counterparts, not enough emotion and aura)
Plot★ ★★☆☆ (comparatively simple, one main line, kill to the end)
visual effects ★★★★★ (great picture quality, grand scene)
sound effects ★★★★★ (the sense of horror is exceptional, and the original atmosphere of the game is restored )
