Is it a dream or a hobby?

This is the second and last movie I have seen at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
From the beginning to the end of the movie, even until now, I have been thinking about why the heroine is so rich, because she founded a club? Would my life be better if I was so obsessed with other things, hahaha.
The film was not as good as I expected, and I was moved to tears in the middle, but after only a few days I forgot what moved me to cry.
Let's talk about a few things.
1. The love and marriage of the heroine and the heroine.
It is unknown how many husbands the male protagonist is the female protagonist, and he is undoubtedly the last husband. The heroine explained that the two held hands because of music, which is undeniable. Indeed, the fact that the female protagonist who is sick cannot marry the male protagonist, cannot give birth to a child for the male protagonist, and can tolerate the male protagonist spending the night with other women. I don't dare to say how big a mind this woman has, and the relationship between the two has surpassed some worldly visions, even a bit Platonic. The male protagonist has also given endless support in the matter of music. But what I don't understand is that every time the heroine sings, the hero doesn't blushed and says, Tutu, you sing very well, but in the last Carnegie Hall, when the heroine looked at him, he hesitated. Yes, I can't give a sure look. Presumably he also knew that he was incapable of convincing everyone of the three thousand people who gave up their seats to say something complimenting their wife. But the quarrel with his girlfriend in the bar and the soldier who laughed at his wife later led to parting ways with his girlfriend. The relationship between the two is evident. The male protagonist loves the female protagonist deeply, and Wu Jiwu loves the singing of the female protagonist, and no one is allowed to defile it. The male lead and his girlfriend said that the rent is paid by the female lead. Comprehensive observation, the maintenance of the relationship between the male lead and the female lead is not just that simple.
2. The heroine's dream or hobby?
Whether music or singing is the heroine's dream or a hobby dare not comment, maybe both. The heroine can cry after hearing a song by the soprano singer, but I'm sure many people don't understand what it's singing, at least I don't understand it very well. From what I understand, the heroine understands music and loves music. Music is a way of expressing feelings, soothing, exciting, flat, fast, good, or bad. The love of music that sustains a syphilis patient for 50 years (or 60, sorry, can't remember) is a great thing. To paraphrase Master Xing's lines, people live without dreams, so what's the difference between that and salted fish. If there is no dedication to music, the heroine must have been a pile of loess already. Water can carry a boat and capsize it. The newspaper's report on the heroine's singing became the last straw that broke the camel's back, and the heroine never got sick. When I was dying, I was still thinking about music.
3. What the heroine's singing
wants to say is not the singing itself. Every time they sing, everything is fully prepared, the pianist who accompanies, the costumes, makeup, accessories and even the audience, in addition to the singing skills of the heroine. The last time I sang, what I noticed was the belly of the heroine. She was wearing belly dancing clothes that time, and I couldn't take my eyes off her bulging belly. This is the one who played the devil! Putting aside the element of superb singing skills, in fact, it doesn't matter what the singer wears. But today's singers are so delicate, of course, a good image is very important.
When you are passionate about one thing, probably other things will become particular about it. You don’t care enough about the connotation, and when you need to supplement it, you may not care much about what clothes to wear tomorrow morning. If you are concerned about being too fat and need to run for fitness, the number of calories in that piece of cake is not so important. Later, I will explore my own hobbies or learning direction. People still have to have dreams, in case they can be realized.

Florence Foster Jenkins quotes

  • St Clair Bayfield: Are you fond of sandwiches?

    Cosmé McMoon: Yes.

St Clair Bayfield: Good, good. Madam Florence is inordinately fond of sandwiches. And potato salad as well. When we throw parties we make mountains of the stuff. It would serve you well to consume both with enthusiasm.

    Cosmé McMoon: I shall.

  • St Clair Bayfield: If you can forgive Madam Florence her little eccentricities, you'll find her to be a most generous and delightful person. Ours is a very happy world.
