After watching American Gods I

recently watched the American drama American Gods. When I watched it, I kept thinking, like the master shadow, what is God, how did God come, and what is the relationship between God and man. In this book by Neil Gellman, a view is expressed that God exists by man. Although in general mythology, God created man, but if there is no man, where would God come from? This seems to be a complex logic of chicken-and-egg or chicken-and-egg.
But the answer given by this American drama is: there are people first, and then there are gods. People's beliefs create gods, because there is death, people fear death, so there is death, because there is spring, people thank spring, so there is Easter, and there is ostar, the god of dawn, people fear war , afraid of lightning, so there is the god of war, the god of thunder and lightning - Odin (odin)
god, must be respected by all people!
People's beliefs, people's admiration, people's love, people's fear, gathering, cohesion, materialization, and creating gods one by one. Then God, became God, and then God, possessed divine power.
When God loses believers, and when no one worships him anymore, God will also die, and he will surely die. He is God because of people, and he will die because of people.
The most important thing for God is faith.

Over time, we believe in different things at different times. In the past, we believed in death, we believed in war, we believed in dawn, because we were afraid of death, we were afraid of war, but now, it seems, we no longer fear war, no longer praise spring, we start to believe in computers, we start Believe in the network, so there is a computer god, and there is a network god.
Old gods go, new gods come. But what if the old gods don't want to leave, don't want to pass away, don't want to be forgotten? Everyone wants or, and God is no exception. The main line of the American gods is the struggle and slaughter between the new gods and the old gods.
But in this conflict between old and new, what about human beings? What position should human beings be in? Why are the old gods forgotten? Some people say that maybe Jesus Christ never came to America. I think one of the subtexts implied in this American drama is that the United States has never really believed in the old culture. The United States has always prided itself on its inclusiveness. Some people say that the United States is a melting pot that accepts all cultures. Others say that the United States is a country of immigrants with cultural diversity. But is this true? Does it really accept those foreign cultures? Or just accept, assimilate, but never believe?
