Carroll

Queen Kate's movies never disappoint. Watching her performance is like watching Aunt Mei's performance. It is a real high-level enjoyment. Every frown, smile, and every move are all emotions. I think every movie fan who knows how to feed his soul with movies can feel this happiness. "Carol" is no exception. It is simply Kate's personal acting show. It plays a noble lady-level literary young woman from a wealthy family to the extreme. Why do you call her a literary youth? First, she loves music. Second, she I fell in love with Therese, a young literary woman, let's just forget it. The film is boring, but the cinematography and soundtrack are top-notch.
The insertion point chosen in the opening chapter When the end is about to change the camera position again, I have already made a dark conclusion in my heart. The staring at each other that ends abruptly in the restaurant makes people feel that the love is complete, and there is no need to tangle whether it is of the same sex or the opposite sex. When Carol called Abby to carry therese instead of going under the weight, that feeling really existed. When the client and the lawyer had the last game before the court, Carol's courage to have therese and say no regrets was shocking.

Carol quotes

  • Therese Belivet: Have you ever been in love with a boy?

    Richard Semco: No.

Therese Belivet: But you've heard of it.

Richard Semco: Of course. I mean, have I heard of people like that? Sure.

Therese Belivet: I don't mean people like that. I just mean two people who fall in love with each other. Say, a boy and a boy. Out of the blue.

Richard Semco: I don't know anyone like that. But I'll tell you this: there's always some reason for it, in the background.

Therese Belivet: So you don't think it could just... happen to somebody. To anybody.

Richard Semco: No. I don't. What are you saying? Are you in love with a girl?

    Therese Belivet: No.

  • Therese Belivet: What town is this again?

[the morning after they first made love]

    Carol Aird: This? Waterloo.

    [laughs]

    Carol Aird: Isn't that awful?
