A reminder, a hometown road, a kiss goodbye, ignited a strong nostalgia in the heart of every ordinary great soldier, always lingering around and accompanying him! And those heroes who were buried in a foreign land before their return date, they dedicated themselves to peace and sacrificed in the battlefield, that kind of affection... It seems even more heroic today! Descendants remember!

    Long way home. Alyosha was a good soldier and a good son, a good son of that land. The film does not portray Alyosha as a saint-like soldier who is indomitable and fearless, but starts from an ordinary person and depicts the experience of a young man who also has fear and emotions. This former Soviet film is worthy of affirmation.
