This story may seem absurd, but it is very traditional at heart. The love between the male and female protagonists came suddenly, but it was reasonable.

There is not much chicken soup in this film, and there are a lot of laughs. It is a lighthearted comedy. Although the intimate scenes of the grandparents are a bit embarrassing to watch, they still give people a warm and romantic feeling. The most worthy of praise is the heroine Diana Keaton. It's really admirable to have the courage to reveal all of your body at this age. Her acting skills are really impeccable, and she plays the shyness, joy, confusion and a little bit of insecurity of a woman over half a century old when she meets her beloved, just right.
The most pitiful is the little handsome guy played by Keanu Reeves. With such a prosperous and beautiful face, she still can't conquer Auntie when she is deeply in love. No wonder he gave up on himself after that, regardless of his image.
As for the old boy, it was not so much that he was attracted by the charm of mature women, but that it was because of the illness that he realized his age and felt powerless, and then he found that women of the same age were more friendly.
