This film has to be compared with "Hui". In contrast, it is more recognized for wisdom, after all, logic is better. As a romance film, the hero and heroine begin from a marital crisis, seek psychological treatment and help, and come to a mysterious resort, where they meet (tentative parallel space) two other fake male and female protagonists. Rather than exploring what these two people are, this film focuses more on the choice itself.
All four are real. Compared to four different individuals, I would prefer to say that the fake ethan is the one who gave passion to anything when he was young. He would ask with a puzzled face: why u dont kiss me anymore?
And the real ethan is like when we grow up, we are afraid of the unknown around us, as he himself said, I know that I am stubborn and imperfect, lost my sense of humor, and cheated on you
The heroine's choice is actually quite understandable. Even though she knows it's not true, she often sees him thinking of a starting point. The shadow standing at the starting point will appear in memory. That's how love begins.
Any relationship doesn't collapse in an instant. Before it collapses, please keep your best sense of humor and kindness and enthusiasm. Don't forget your original self.
