The movie uses a daughter as a lawyer to reverse the case for her father as an entry point, and relive what happened in the past in the form of flashbacks
There is no doubt that this story is a tragedy. The mentally handicapped father raised his daughter alone, and the two childlike people depended on each other for life. The father wanted to give his daughter his beloved schoolbag, and was involved in a disaster. The girl who died unexpectedly, the family members of the police who were sad and angry, and the overwhelming public opinion pushed the father, who was supposed to save lives, into the abyss. He knows the ins and outs, but he doesn't seek justice. He doesn't understand the rules of this society. After that, the kind father met a group of friendly inmates and a kind chief. These men in prison more or less have their own unbearable past. However, no matter how heinous crimes they have committed, their humanity has not been wiped out. The lovely inmates helped the father and daughter get together. They learned the truth and chose to help the mentally retarded father get out of prison. There is also a section chief who was initially hostile to the mentally handicapped father, but chose to help the father and daughter as he learned the truth gradually. The two parties play different roles inside and outside the prison, but do the same things for the same reasons. I just found out that this world has become so different because of love.
More than ten or twenty years have passed since the case, and the foolish father of the past has long since passed away. His daughter is still there, traveling around the world to study and live with the wish of vindicating her father's unjust case. The end result, of course, was a successful reversal. The death penalty in the past was revoked, and the sentenced father was able to avenge his injustice. However, it brought infinite sighs and heartache to the audience. Finally, the injustice is snowed, but Keren has already gone to Huangquan. This is a movie full of tears. In this little story, I see the sinister and kindness of human nature. Most importantly, the father's love is enough to move the world.
