Really, just watched it for 10 minutes. First, I changed Joe's experience to return from war, trying to find an excuse for his night life. However, the original book doesn't need an excuse at all. He just doesn't like to obey the rules of the day. He is not lacking in kindness, but prefers the rules of the night. There is also Emma, who is acting like a female textile factory worker. She was born in a slum. The state of wanting to get out of the night and being powerless, the struggle hidden behind her disappears, and only one barmaid is found in this film.
