The 2-hour patchwork of various elements makes it impossible to immerse yourself in the storyline.
What is this film trying to convey? A pure first love? Youth road movie? A near-future picture of advanced technology? Martian babies cause ethical crisis? The touching affection between a teenager and his adoptive mother and parents he has never met? The adventures of the opposite sex on earth? There is a lot of content, but unfortunately none of the points are well covered.
The details are even more speechless. Flying a plane, exploding, stealing a car, just like Currie's robot friend in "Moon" turned around and said kick me on the back of his head!
This is a very good subject, and it has been photographed as a typical counter-example.
