This is a movie adapted from a short story, a movie that tells the past and present life in the time of a cup of tea.
This is a very clean film, the picture and plot are simple and true, it is the delicate and gentle that female directors are good at, and it tells a simple love-hate entanglement, lingering and sad. However, that's about it. This is a decent movie, but it really made me feel the ordinary amazing in the movie.
"Love Has Afterlife" revolves around a ginkgo tree, telling a story about a ghostly relationship. The hero played by Duan Yihong turns into an infatuated ghost in the film. He fell in love with A Jiu, an orphaned girl played by Yu Feihong in his previous life, but because of the conflict between the two families, the two parted in life and death. After Duan Yihong's death, he became a lonely soul. Under a ginkgo tree, he affectionately waited for his former lover who had been reincarnated for 50 years. There is no resentment in the depths of this ghost. It came and went suddenly under the ginkgo tree, and the ginkgo leaves shook and fell, bringing out a terrifying atmosphere, and the whole small yard was filled with ghosts. Every day, Amin, who is a ghost, will have a conversation with Ajiu in this life under the ginkgo tree. All the memories of the past life are reproduced in Amin's narration until the tea is cool in the middle of the night. However, in this life, her happiness has been accompanied by someone, the reincarnation is near, and the tea is cool to refill the cup, but it can no longer continue the agreement of their previous life.
With the fresh piano solo at the beginning of the film, the abundance of spring gradually fills the old house, the woman's eyes are clear, and the sad song and love song that was sealed under the old tree slowly kicked off. Under an ancient tree that has grown for thousands of years, there is a man in a gray robe, watching her quietly. The charming face is within reach, her eyes are full of eyes, and she wants to stop talking, but it blooms for another person. Another story starts with tea and ends with tea.
That night, the woman sat alone under the old tree and poured two cups of tea. One cup is for myself, another cup, but I don't know who will drink it. The tea flows slowly into the mouth, and the taste is fresh and bitter. Suddenly, the wind picked up. The woman was under the old tree and saw the gray-robed man. He said he was a monk, a long time ago, at least fifty years ago. The man had deep eyes and asked, " Are you interested in listening to a story?" The woman suppressed her panic and nodded slightly hesitantly. The man's eyes flickered, and finally disillusioned into silence.
The man used a cup of tea to tell a story of struggle and forbearance in love and hatred. The family feud and entanglement cut off the budding love, even if it was very sad to reject such feelings, Unforgettable sadness.
At the end of the story, the woman dressed in red, permanently closed her clear eyes, and fell into the man's arms. And the man drew his sword and slaughtered himself under the old tree. They agreed that in the next life, they will meet in an ordinary way, love each other in an ordinary way, and live an ordinary life.
The story is very touching. The woman couldn't help but feel a little sad when she heard it. She got up in a hurry, left the sentence "The tea is cold, I'll go and continue it for you", and then fled. After a long while, the woman who was to be reincarnated finally remembered that chaotic love in a chaotic world, but there was no trace of him in the gray clothed monk robe. I have been stubbornly stationed under the tree for fifty years, and finally I can see her happy face, even if that quiet and beautiful smile is not born for him, what's the harm? The soul should also be scattered.
The majestic and mournful symphony overlapped, accompanied by the woman's rolling down hot tears and heart-piercing cries. At this moment, the full grief that had been suppressed for a long time finally found an outlet to vent, and with a series of uplifting music, Tears fell like rain.
"Amin, you wait, Amin——" ——How
can I tell the man to wait? The fetters of the world are only enough for him to stay for fifty years, and it is no regret to see that the woman has a lifelong trust and love for her.
In fact, Samsara sticks to it, and what he waits for is only the woman who refills a cup of tea for him.
In a twinkling of an eye, the sky was bright, and the ancient trees that had grown for thousands of years withered overnight. Next to the withered old tree, there were only two cups of steaming tea.
