A unique movie, with beautiful pictures but a little bit of an unintelligible plot. Worth a look.

The picture is quite beautiful. Pause and watch frame by frame, like an illustration. The first half of the film is full of innocence and beautiful scenery. The second half of the home was destroyed by the Vikings, and the scene was terrifying and shocking. What impresses me is that the people who survived the destruction of their homes are in a harsh environment, nesting in a hut, reading the scriptures religiously and earnestly. The protagonist did not arouse the emotions of resistance as in the routine, and wanted to restore his homeland and expel the enemy. Instead, he hid in the forest and wrote the unfinished book. The plot goes unexpectedly, it's realistic, it fits the protagonist's identity, but it's a bit negative. Looking back on it now, it gives me a feeling that the plot is weak, uh uh uh... What does the work want to express? Devotion to religion? But I don't believe in it and I don't understand it. However, there are also advantages to designing the plot in this way. Although the plot is not hot-blooded, it is very peaceful and stable, and it develops slowly. Worth a look.
