A dystopian sci-fi movie. Unlike Godard's "experimental" films, it is a veritable big-plot film. However, the meaning of the dialogue explanation in this film is often more important than the performance of the camera and the characters, so watching this film feels like reading a novel (it may also be because of the bad subtitles of the video I watched...). As for the storyline, it is true that the background of the world view is extremely huge, but the storyline is not complicated, but I feel that the ideology of this film is higher than the storyline, and there are some unreasonable parts in the storyline (even if the dystopian world view is absurd, But the absurd world also has its rules of rationality). This film is easier to understand among Godard's films, and I personally like it better.
