"13 Hours of Crisis" ★★★★ I finished reading it yesterday, just a few words~ Said that Michael Bay only understands bombardment, so he should watch this film. It's interesting to say, as long as he doesn't make Transformers, the director's other films are interesting. I certainly don't mean that Transformers is a bad movie. Maybe it's because of his straight male aesthetics and adrenaline that he has no way to vent, and when he has more money, he will get rid of it. Ignore the story and concentrate on playing Blast. If you are making a medium-investment film and you don’t have much money, well, let’s tell a story~ Not counting 5, 13 hours is his latest work. What remains unchanged is the high-saturation tones of the Exploding Shell version, and the color rendering is very eye-catching. Indispensable there are well-crafted slow motion, explosions, dust, sparks, very enjoyable. Especially a few night battle clips, bird's eye view, panorama, close-up, first-person back-and-forth editing, bullet beam + explosion fire and night against each other. The sound effects are outstanding, the details of the gun battle scene are exquisite, and the car chase scene shows the director's precise scene scheduling. Sound, picture editing in one go. Enjoy! tragic! I'm worried! I'm dropping old iron! The only problem with the film is the length. The length of 144 minutes, if I say, should be finely cut into two hours. Bang Bei is always reluctant to cut out the footage of his own film, wishing we could see every single one of them. It's true that every shot is well shot, but it also affects the rhythm. The most inexplicable thing about war is not why it is fought, because either side of the war has its own reasons. The most incomprehensible thing is that those soldiers who died in battle, before dying or dying, feel resentment in their hearts: "What am I dying for?" Expect a little more.
