Before the outbreak of the U.S.-Iraq war, the Iraqi border was raging and the people were struggling. In a small village, all the young and middle-aged people went to war, leaving only the elderly, women and children who were helpless. They have become the main force for the self-defense of this village. The child king "Satellite" leads everyone to the minefield to dig mines all day long in exchange for weapons and satellite signal receivers. Therefore, many children's limbs are damaged by bombing, but they still work tirelessly. digging, like digging for rare treasures. One day, a thirteen- or four-year-old brother and sister came to the village. They came here with a mysterious baby to escape the war. In the end, the child king "Satellite" and the baby abandoned to save the girl were maimed by a landmine. The girl also committed suicide by jumping off a cliff.

This film is very peculiar in shape, and provides a good carrier for the narrative of the story and the communication of humanistic care. For the styling of this film, I have chosen the following two outstanding aspects for evaluation.

First, the character's modeling is handled very well.

1. The girl Agrin is always carrying things, either a baby or a bamboo basket with mines. Her presence surprised me. Before she spoke I thought it was a woman carrying a child. She made me stunned when she opened her mouth. It turned out that she was just a little girl who spoke with a milky voice. A girl is helpless, yet she has to stand up with such a thin body to shoulder the responsibilities that should not be shouldered by her like an adult. Such a peculiar shape is worth a thousand words, and only one shot is enough for the audience to see I saw the abnormality of this social order and the suffering brought by the war to the children. This is the powerful power of images to convey true images, which is much more intuitive and moving than words. 2. The shape of the girl's brother is also quite distressing. He lost his arms, but he was still digging mines, and he was digging with his mouth. When he sucked the mine with his mouth, his eyes were closed nervously, as if he was kissing something precious affectionately. This is often the case in reality. When there are problems in society, people tend to cherish very dangerous things, and have an abnormal sense of dependence and intimacy. This shape very powerfully expresses the deformed social form at that time. The boy lost both arms, and only a very short section of his arms remained. When he held the child, the child was almost holding him. This look is even more disturbing. 3. The shape of the "Satellite" can very well reflect his "King of Children" status. First of all, in dress, he always wears fat clothes, with his hat turned upside down, a pair of large glasses, and fingerless gloves. Glasses, indicating that he is still in school and probably doing well; gloves, indicating that he likes to do things by himself. Second, his movements. He always likes to gesture and speak loudly and bluntly, which shows that the character is very strong and has the demeanor of a leader, giving people the feeling of a little adult. 4. Satellite's younger brother, one leg was paralyzed and shrunken by the bomb, and he lost consciousness. But he is very optimistic, cheerful and carefree. He was very impressive in his way of coaxing a baby by playing with one leg as a gun. The war has numbed the children, and they don't care about the hurt they have suffered. Second, the shapes of props and scenes are also very special, which can very well reflect the characteristics of the times.

When the prop of the satellite dish first appeared, it gave people a rather odd and discordant feeling. This shape is similar to the big parachute that Zhang Jingchu opened with the help of wind while riding a bicycle in the crowd in "Peacock". What they have in common is that they are the product of abnormal social formations. Everyone holds a signal pole, forming a unique landscape. But close up, it was the old man who was struggling to walk with a long pole, which made people feel awkward and sad. There are many weird scenes in the film, such as people walking on a big slope with difficulty, which makes the atmosphere of the film more panic and scary. Strange-shaped trees with claws and claws stand in the barren grass and the Gobi. The little baby is ignorantly holding the barbed wire full of thorns, lying on the mouth of the pipe and looking in. A pile of mines that makes people dense and fearful are exposed on the surface. But not all shapes are so chilling. For example, the only satellite dish in this village that has access to information from the outside world looks like a flower blooming. Although it is a little worn, it is very beautiful. This shape is a beautiful image, representing The director's hope for peace. Another example is the scene of the whole village standing on the top of the mountain with their hands raised and cheering, which is very exciting. (What the hell at the end?)

So even though the protagonists all fell into misfortune in the ending of this movie, there are some shapes that convey hope, which can still give people care and encouragement, and let people see that "turtles can also fly".

This is a film that opposes war and preaches peace.

A good modeling film should be like this. Using images to convey the truth is much more intuitive and credible than using words to tell. But he left the audience with more than just broken limbs, and more than just panic. While reflecting the real misfortune, the audience should not be completely left with despair, but should also be left with good hopes and expectations, such as the satellite dish that symbolizes hope in the film. It is already very difficult for people to live. How can they cruelly deprive them of their fantasy of a better world? At least people should be encouraged to tell them that they have done a good job, so that people can continue to live a strong life. go down.
