Woody is addicting

Roll into Woody's arms again (really prolific like a sow)

This movie..."Don't speak!"

I..."Slince!"

(End of the joke) I really like Woody's style, which makes me laugh and can savor it carefully

An "artist" who dreamed of becoming famous, gave up his identity as an artist after he became famous; a gangster who always wanted to play billiards became a genius writer, sacrificed his life for art, and was still revising the script before his death.

Taking such a dramatic turn in the middle of a play rehearsal reminds me of Polanski's Venus in Furs (though it's a lot later) It's the vanity and timidity that makes this movie so impressive Ignorance, compromise, impracticality, and so on are complicated, all the elements are mixed together, making the theater look like a play within a play, but it can be covered up in the play, but it can't go on outside the play. David finally confessed to himself, and it was much easier to face the real self. tired

oh, no. Cic. Can't tell that the movie is from 1994. It always seems fashionable now. Multiple groups of dialogues are carried out at the same time, which is a nightmare for the audience, but it is quite effective to create conflicts in the early stage. The male protagonist is just a fool. It's really hard to accept criticism from others rationally, but I still see the reality clearly at the end. I have the courage to admit that I am not an artist. There are really too many characters in the play, but each character is very successful and powerful.

Bullets Over Broadway quotes

  • Cheech: Sylvia Pincus. Big fat Jewish broad, had a little tiny husband. She chopped him up with an ax and mailed his pieces all over the country. I don't know what she was tryin' to prove.

  • Eden Brent: [on David's new script changes] Congratulations. It finally has balls.
