this is a cartoon, a satire with a very dark humor.
This movie has several very special points:
1. Ugly, not beautiful,
both characters and scenery are very strange
2. The dialogue is very I don't think much
of what the teacher said, "Tell stories with pictures", this cartoon is a good example
3. Full of metaphors and ironies , take Meidu
as an example
, what does Meidu look like?
Undoubtedly, this is a metaphor
for the hand that the United States should have held the Declaration of Independence, the hamburger,
the torch, and the ice cream
. The goddess that should be beautiful and thin has turned into an ugly fat pig.
The towering and single building, the cold, and
the people who use hamburgers and cola as symbols of Mirador?
So fat I don't know what to say
Crouching without dignity, smirking attentive, hypocritical, flattering
The three sisters of the once-popular stars who ate frogs with relish, lived in a messy house full of flies and mosquitoes,
and the props used were broken refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and newspapers.
Addicted to betting on horses, using people as things, still addicted to the objectification of people
This is the bad guy of the movie -
his members of the Mafia have the same expression and even a face carved out of a mold and a body shaped like a coffin, their hearts and their coats as black. In the Tour de France, they quietly transported the players who fell down because of lack of physical strength, and then used them to bet on horses in the underworld, and the people who had no use value were killed with one shot.
The boss of the mafia has no back. He puts his huge ugly face straight on the table and walks with the two square people around him.
This may be a satire on the alienation of people since industrialization. As for the opposition to industrialization, the movie uses a A puppy to reflect:
every time a train passes by, the dog happily barks at the train
