In the final scene of "genius", Max cries silently after seeing Thomas' letter, and the film comes to an abrupt end. To the point, it has the power to speak.
This film is gentle and long, just like a cup of cappuccino in the palm of your hand, but in the eyes of others, it can't help but be judged as a bland and mediocre pee. In fact, I don't think this is an American movie, because it's less of a series of twists and turns, thrilling scenes, spectacular characters, heroes, and more subtle and heavy-handed British dramas. Thomas, Max, and Rowling's threesome, the choice between love and dream, the wandering between reason and suspicion, although not so intense and dramatic, but it is fascinating. At the same time, Thomas's talent is pouring down a thousand words and Fitzgerald's talent is exhausted and unsustainable, which is in stark contrast. Although it is not said that the new people laugh and do not hear the old people cry, the desolation of Lian Po's old age is still chilling. Perhaps, this is the uniqueness and inevitable destiny of genius, and we just sit on the sidelines and cry.
