If you ask me to recommend an anime: サムライチャンプルー

I watched it off and on for three years, and I was reluctant to go to the end, so I re-watched the middle episodes several times, and even in the last few episodes, I couldn't help but watch it twice.
Samurai Champloo, not only the OP and ED, but also the soundtrack is so good that it is not a problem to repeat it twenty times. Whenever the music flows, I always think of Feng Wu Huan Ren's journey and their fetters, just like me who was reluctant to usher in the ending, and no matter how reluctant they were, they also embarked on their own journeys. Because they both believe that one day, they will meet again. Despite how uncertain this "must" is. Supporting them to live in this era is precisely the agreement like this, but it seems that there is no agreement. Samurai have a firm belief, but their fate is adrift.
In general, it seems that the wind has more harvest, relying on the protection of Wujin and Jin, and finally found a samurai with the smell of sunflower. But in fact, along the way, the past of Wuhuan and Ren, also found a way of confession through this journey. What kind of fate will the three have afterward, and what the three really think, although it is unknown, their 26-episode journey has brought us a new feeling in different worlds.
I got the warmth of the heart, a lot of touching and the courage to part from it. The company has collapsed, we all know that there will be no second season, and this anime has no feeling of doing a second season from the beginning, so the sentence at the end of the film is, "Goodbye, see you in the future" 〔じゃね,またいつか], in my opinion, it is very ironic, obviously I will never see you again, why do you say such a thing, thinking like this, it is like a dialogue with a dead person.
But in fact, how much I like this work, I imagine a parallel world, Feng Wu Huan Ren really exists, although there is no goal, the trip of 3 people continues. And contradictingly, because it's an anime, they won't die. Such an unreasonable request is like the farewell that the wind said.
Because the people who made it also have a lot of love. Although it is a small cost, it has made an extraordinary work. Whenever I see these works, I want to say hypocritically, it is really good to live in this world.
God Watanabe, please worship me.

Samurai Champloo quotes

  • Sara: What I can't see I can sense.

    Mugen: [stumbling, bleeding] What?

Sara: Inside of you looms a simmering storm of hatred and rage, but perhaps what I'm actually sensing is sadness. It's as if you've never once been loved by anyone; it's as if you're just like me.

  • Jin: [Confronting the Yagyu guards as they are about to dispatch an innocent peasant] To serve your lord and do his bidding, is that honor?

Yagyu badass: [scoffs] Of course it is.

Jin: Even if that lord is an unimportant piece of shit?

Yagyu badass: [the Yagyu draw their swords to attack] What the? Watch your mouth! Don't try to interfere!

Jin: Cutting down a man who's done nothing wrong; is that what you spent all that time honing those skills for?

Jin: In my opinion, you're worthless.

Yagyu badass: [rushes at him] Screw You!

[Jinn kills all three Yagyu guards with his sword]
